The F.G. Degree College for Men in Peshawar Cantt was established in 1964 and initially operated as a School. It was later upgraded to degree level, and its administration was transferred to the Federal Ministry of Education.
Currently, the college is managed by the Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantts/ Garrisons), which falls under the Ministry of Defence.
